Experienced Australian spinner Adam Zampa weaved his magic with the ball for Rajasthan Royals during their ongoing group-stage fixture against Royal Challengers Bangalore. After dismissing Mahipal Lomror, the wily tweaker trapped Dinesh Karthik for a two-ball duck to swing the game into the Royals' favour.

The incident took place in the 16th over, when Sanju Samson brought Adam Zampa back into the attack in order to dismantle the RCB middle order. After deceiving Lomror with a tossed up delivery, Zampa managed to trap Karthik plumb in front of the stumps. Although it looked dead straight in real time, the on-field umpire thought it would miss the stumps, declaring Karthik not out.

However, the Royals skipper Sanju Samson decided to go upstairs straightaway and the ball-tracker detected three reds, as Karthik had to walk back to the dugout with disappointment written all over his face.

After Karthik's departure, RR managed to get rid of Glenn Maxwell, who was about to launch attack after completing a flamboyant half century.

Although they looked all set to breach the 180-run mark at one stage, RR spinners pulled things back superbly in the middle overs to shatter their hopes.

As of writing, the visitors are 150 for five in 18.4 overs, with Michael Bracewell and Anuj Rawat batting on 6* and 11*, respectively.
