The opening swashbuckling batter for Rajasthan Royals (RR), Yashasvi Jaiswal went berserk against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) as he became the fastest half-centurion in Indian Premier League (IPL) history bringing the milestone in just 13 balls bettering KL Rahul and Pat Cummins' 14 ball feat.

Smashing seven fours and three sixes in his knock until the point to his fifty, Jaiswal even thumped opposition's skipper Nitish Rana for 26 in the very first over.

The IPL centurion has been in supreme form this season with over 500 runs already in 12 matches at an average of 49 while striking at 168. The three fifties and one century with the hundred coming against Mumbai Indians (MI) has been his highlight as he has maintained a healthy strike rate.

Jaiswal has delivered the goods this season for the franchise after being picked by the side in 2020 where he made his debut against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at Sharjah after his wonderful performances in the U-19 World Cup that happened in South Africa.

The Southpaw has been successful in providing solid starts alongside English skipper Jos Buttler.

In the points table, Rajasthan are currently placed fifth with five wins in 11 matches and would surely be looking to move up the table.
