'MSD Closes The Door Of His Stadium and Thrashes..': Here's What Irfan Pathan Said About Dhoni and CSK

According to former Indian all-rounder Irfan Pathan, the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) are expected to easily make it to the playoffs in the IPL 2023 season, and their primary goal would be to secure one of the top two positions.

In an interaction with Star Sports, Irfan Pathan, while giving insight about Dhoni and his men, said: 

"CSK is sure to qualify for the playoffs. Now they will try to make it to the Top-2. I always say that whenever any team comes to their home ground, 'Chacha Chowdhary' MSD closes the door of his stadium and thrashes the opposition mercilessly. CSK is a ruthless team and it deals with opposition teams in its own way."

At present, CSK sit at the second spot in the IPL points table right behind the Gujarat Titans. The men in yellow have played 11 games and earned 13 points; this gives them a high probability of sealing a spot in the Qualifier 1 by performing well in their upcoming matches.

Following a convincing victory over arch rivals Mumbai Indians, the Super Kings are confident of securing consecutive triumphs at their home ground in their upcoming match against the Delhi Capitals on Wednesday.
