Mumbai Indians Create History Against RCB In the 200-Run Chase

Mumbai Indians (MI) are the five-time IPL Champions and they have the knack of pulling off memorable wins when they are written off. They are doing the same thing in the IPL 2023 and with some great style and swag. Their bowling is bit on the weaker side but their batting has been on fire this season and along the way, they have shattered plenty of records this season.
MI have now created a record of most number of successful 200-plus chases in an IPL season. They have chased 200-plus score three times in IPL 2023 with the latest one coming against RCB in just 16.3 overs. The other two chases came against SRH and PBKS and these are dangerous signs for other teams as the playoff race in IPL 2023 intensifies.
Also, this record chase of 200 against RCB was special because MI nailed it with 21 balls to spare. No team has chased down a 200 or 200-plus target with 21 balls to spare before in the IPL history and the previous record was held by DC. It was the 2017 season when DC chased down a 208-run target with 15 balls to spare against Gujarat Lions but that record has been broken by MI now.
