Social Media Banter Continues; Has Naveen-ul-Haq Posted a Cryptic Message For Kohli?

The cold war between Virat Kohli and Naveen-ul-Haq has taken an interesting route. The on-field spat has taken an ugly turn and turned into social media banter as both the players have shared cryptic posts that seems as if they are taking a dig at each other.

During the ongoing match, Kohli was dismissed cheaply for just 1 on the board. He charged down the ground to attack Jason Behrendorff, but found a healthy edge which was taken cleanly by Ishan Kishan.

Following Kohli's wicket, Naveen took to social media and posted a cryptic message. While eating Mangoes and watching the ongoing IPL match, Naveen posted - "Sweet Mango's."

The Instagram post was posted minutes after Kohli went back to the pavilion after a disappointing outing.

Last Sunday, during the Gujarat Titans vs Lucknow Super Giants match, Kohli took to his social media and posted messages wherein he was appreciating GT players for their efforts against the LSG side. He congratulated Wriddhiman Saha for his stellar knock, and followed it up with a heartfelt message to Rashid Khan for his brilliant diving catch.

At that time, fans speculated that Kohli lauded GT players and took a sly dig at the LSG team, for events that transpired last week, when Kohli had an argument with Naveen, and then a heated exchange of words with Gautam Gambhir.
