Rishabh Pant Mentors U-16 Players While Recovering From Injury At NCA

In an admirable display of goodwill, Indian wicket-keeper batter, Rishabh Pant, imparted wisdom to young Under-16 cricketers at the prestigious National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru. The session was held despite Pant being amidst a gruelling recovery process from the injuries he sustained in a car accident last December.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) expressed its gratitude to Pant for his benevolent and compassionate gesture towards the young cricketers. The photos of the session have been posted on social media, eliciting an overwhelming response from fans across the world. The tweet read:

"The boys who are part of the Under-16 high performance camp at NCA Bangalore had the opportunity to interact with Rishabh Pant on cricket, life, hard work and much much more. It was very generous of Rishabh Pant to spare time for interacting with these young boys," tweeted BCCI.

Ever since his accident, the southpaw has been steadily recuperating from his injuries and recently was also seen attending n Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 match at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. Despite being unable to play due to his injuries, Pant enthusiastically cheered of his team, Delhi Capitals, which is being led by the Australian opener David Warner.

The dynamic stumper has been diligent in his recovery and has been keeping his fans updated with his progress through regular videos. Recently, he even demonstrated his ability to walk unassisted without crutches in a video posted on his social media accounts, signifying his resolute spirit and willpower to bounce back.

The 25-year-old’s unwavering determination has been an inspiration to his fans worldwide. His recent mentoring session with the young cricketers is a testament to his commitment to the sport and his desire to impart his knowledge and experience to the next generation.
