Hero for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) for the second time this season, Rinku Singh is turning into a household name after some incredible performances with the bat. The left-hander who previously won his side the game against Gujarat Titans (GT) with five consecutive sixes and then, in the game against Punjab Kings (PBKS) he found a boundary off the final ball to seal the game for his team.
Talking after the game, Rinku expressed his feelings and mentioned that his popularity would only increase if continues to finish games like these. Adding to it, Singh's clean power-hitting has been the talk of the town for which the 25-year-old said that he tries to play the at merit.
Further, explaining the match situation, the big-hitter revealed that they were considering the tie but he had trust in himself to do the finishing job.
"People will get to know me if I finish like that. I played to the merit of the ball and hit it for a boundary. We were thinking of a tie and then had the self belief to win the game. I keep it simple. Celebrations are normal for me as we keep it simple. Amazing to get the win in the end."
After this commendable victory, Rinku Singh will next feature for KKR when they take on Rajasthan Royals at Eden Gardens in Kolkata on 11th May. Currently, they are placed fifth on the table with 10 after featuring in 11 games.
