The 52nd fixture of the TATA IPL edition between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Rajasthan Royals really went down the wire. It all seemed over for the Orange Army when Abdul Samad holed out to long off as he failed to clear the ropes. At that point, it looked like Sandeep Sharma did a fine job by holding off the SRH aggression in the final over. Assuming that the job was done, Sandeep and his other team mates began celebrating in joy.

Little did they know there was some really bad news awaiting them. The subsequent replays from the third umpire showed that Sandeep had indeed committed a massive blunder whilst delivering the final ball of the match. It turned out that the 29 year old overstepped by a big margin and the third umpire rightfully adjudged it as a no-ball.

This was certainly a heartbreaking news to hear for the RR who were all under the impression that the job was done and dusted. With that, the dwindling hopes of an SRH victory suddenly sprung back to life.

Abdul Samad wasted no time in grabbing this opportunity and in the very next ball that he faced, Samad deposited this one straight back over the bowler's head for a glorious six steering his side to an improbable win.

SRH scripted a memorable win last night. They were up against a quality bowling attack and started their chase on a solid note. The top three featuring the likes of Anmolpreet Singh, Abhishek Sharma and Rahul Tripathi made some sizable contributions with the bat. In the end, Glenn Phillips and Abdul Samad applied the finishing touches and hit the winning runs at the fag end of the SRH innings to power them to an impressive 4 wicket victory. Glenn was later adjudged as the man of the match for his quickfire cameo of 25* (7) which propelled SRH to an unassailable victory.

Their win in this fixture caught the attention of the former Sunrisher's skipper David Warner. He took to his Twitter account to congratulate SRH on their emphatic win over RR.

SRH walk away with a win from Jaipur and will now head to Hyderabad to take on LSG in their next fixture on May 13.
