It was a forgetful start for David Warner-led Delhi Capitals who lost five wickets in the powerplay, but not so much for the Gujarat Titans' Mohammed Shami who bagged four out of those five. The pace spearhead has been in terrific form where he has decimated the opposition with his pace and swing that has quite difficult for the batters to deal with.

With his four wickets in this game, the right-armer has now leapfrogged to number one position in the purple cap list as he is just over Chennai Super Kings' (CSK) pacer Tushar Deshpande in terms of economy rate.

Both the bowlers have scalped 17 wickets each but Shami has better economy rate which is 7.06 whereas Tushar is on the higher side with 11.07 after his name. Moreover, Titans' pacer is ahead in average column as well with 14.53 over Deshpande's 21.71.

Shami bowled four overs in the game where he gave away just 11 runs while dismissing four batters including one of the very first ball of the game.

In the end, Delhi recovered well to post the respectable total of 130 on the board and will now have the job of defending it.
