MI vs RR|Suryakumar Yadav Smashes a swashbuckling Fifty; Keeps MI in the Chase

Suryakumar has been the talk of town for the last couple of years now. He grabbed plenty of eyeballs couple of years back for his exploits with the bat for MI and then put the international stage on fire as well. He is currently the number 1 T20I batter in ICC rankings but came under lot of criticism when he registered three golden ducks in ODIs against Australia.
SKY also failed in initial games for MI in IPL 2023 but have found his groove now and is back in his full 360-degree range. In the ongoing 42nd game of IPL 2023, he is again showing all his class and has smashed a fifty in just 24 balls to keep MI in their run-chase of 213 at the Wankhede Stadium against RR.
At the time of writing, MI are 151-3 at the end of 15 overs and need 62 off 30 balls to pull of an incredible run-chase. Talking about the chase, Rohit Sharma departed early yet again on his birthday, and his opening partner, Ishan Kishan, also struggled on his way to 28 off 23 balls. Green, however, batted well and scored 44 off 26 balls, but Ashwin once again changed the game in his side’s favor with the wickets of Ishan Kishan and Cameron Green. Sandeep Sharma was the one who earlier outfoxed Rohit Sharma with a beautiful slower delivery.
However, SKY was aggressive from the word go and played some brilliant shots, including his trademark 360-degree shots and would hope that Tilak Varma gets going now with Tim David still to follow. We surely have another thriller on the cards.
