Fighting for his dreams and looking for his aspirations, The Yashasvi Jaiswal Story has gotten much more sweeter as the Rajasthan Royals' (RR) southpaw notched up his maiden century in the grandest Indian Premier League (IPL) when he took on the Mumbai Indians (MI) at Wankhede Stadium.

Taking just 53 balls to reach the landmark, the young boy from Uttar Pradesh did it at his adopted home ground in front of thousands that witnessed his class and brilliance. Taking on the likes of Jofra Archer, he finally did what he came here for.

The stage couldn't have been bigger too with Sachin Tendulkar in the house and the 1000th game of the league, the fluent hitter did what he is known for.

Jaiswal's innings ended on 124 after a controversial no-ball call in the final over. His innings consisted of eight sixes and whopping 16 fours and batted at a strike rate of 200 helping his side to reach 212.

The left-hander has now grabbed the orange cap with 428 runs in nine innings at an average of 47.50 with three half-centuries and surely, this is not where he is going to stop.

The 21-year-old has set his ambitions on India call-up and with this kind of performance, the dream isn't far-fetched.
