IPL 2023 season has been a special one for the young and emerging Yashasvi Jaiswal. He started the tournament on a positive note and continued the onslaught in the ongoing IPL match against the Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede.

With the wicket being a belter, Jaiswal used his batting prowess and played some aggressive looking shots. However, the southpaw also innovated with some of his shots and the one against Arshad Khan was particularly eye-catching.

The moment occurred in the 10th over of the match, when Arshad Khan bowled a good length ball outside the off.

Jaiswal read the line and length as he shuffled across and played an innovative shot. He waited for the ball and scooped it over the keepers' head. 

Jaiswal knew that the short third man was inside the circle, and he took full advantage of it. The shot even shocked Rohit Sharma, who looked angry on the bowler for missing his line.

At the time of writing, Rajasthan Royals are 103 for 3 inside 11 overs. Jaiswal is going strong and is batting at 52 off just 33 deliveries.

With 9 overs to go and still plenty of batting left, Rajasthan will be eyeing the 200-run mark.
