DC vs SRH | Mitchell Marsh, Salt Deliver Counter-Attacking Fifties; Keep DC in Chase

The 40th game of the IPL 2023 was expected to be an interesting contest with DC and SRH both looking to get two points under their belt to take that upward flight in the points table.
SRH have posted a huge total of 197 in the first innings courtesy of twin fifties by Abhishek Sharma and Klaasen on what was expected to be a a wicket not easy for stroke-playing. In reply, DC lost Warner in the second ball as Bhuvneshwar Kumar produced a peach of a delivery to knock Warner over on a duck.
However, just when it looked like DC would crumble under pressure with their leading run-scorer of the season back to the pavilion, Philip Salt and Mitchell Marsh unleash themselves to put together a brilliant counter-attacking stand. Marsh got to his fifty in just 28 balls while Salt got to his maiden IPL fifty in 29 balls.
At the time of writing, DC are 107-1 in the 11th over with Marsh on 50 and Salt batting on 56. DC, however, still need 91 runs of 58 balls and need to continue the onslaught as SRH have quality bowlers to make their way back in this game.
The pitch though is playing contrary to what everyone expected at the start of the game. It was expected to be pretty slow wicket and a low-scoring affair but it has played pretty well as the power-hitters in both the teams have got runs on the board. If DC does cross the line, they would be getting their third win in a row and surely take a lot of confidence from this win.
