Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) were at the peak of their powers as they banged an unbelievably gigantic score of 257 in the game against Punjab Kings (PBKS) courtesy of high-quality power-hitting from their batters with Marcus Stoinis being the top-scorer with 72.

Punjab bowlers were thrashed all-round the park as they had no answer to Lucknow's batting powerhouse.

With 258 to defend, LSG handed the ball to the star of the first innings Stoinis to deliver the first over who gave away just three runs. Moreover, he came to bowl another over for the side but could only manage five balls in his second as a straight shot back at Atharva Taide hit the Aussie on his fingers.

All of a sudden, Stoinis was seen suffering in immense pain after which he sat on the ground while physio was attending him. Later, he went off the field without completing his over with one ball remaining in the over which was bowled by Ayush Badoni.

However, in his spell of 1.5 overs, Marcus picked up a crucial wicket of the opposition's skipper Shikhar Dhawan but also gave away 21 runs.

By the time of writing, Punjab Kings were 47 for two after the completion of five overs.
