Gujarat Titans (GT) are all set to face the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in match 39 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) at the Eden Gardens Stadium in Kolkata from 3:30 pm on April 29.

GT has had an amazing season so far, they currently have 10 points in the bag and just two points away from being the No.1 team on the IPL table. They have time and again walked on the field and performed like the absolute studs that they are. Whether its with the bat or ball, the team has stood with one another and backed up each other strong. A win at Eden Gardens would help them strengthen their position at the points table.

Here's our predicted playing XI of the Gujarat Titans:

Openers: Shubman Gill and Wriddhiman Saha

Shubman Gill has been a consistent performer for GT since the beginning. In the six innings he's played so far, Gill has scored over three centuries and looks well in-sync with his own rhythm. Wriddhiman Saha, who generally plays the role of an aggressor, smashing a couple of reckless sixes and fours before he walks back to the pavilion, held firm on his ground when Shubman was dismissed for a duck against LSG and built a 47-run partnership with captain Pandya.

Both the players understand their role as openers very well and play as per the requirement of the match, moulding right into it like soft clay.

Middle Order: Sai Sudharsan/Abhinav Manohar, Hardik Pandya, David Miller and Rahul Tewatia

Although, Hardik Pandya has been criticised for not being in the best of his form, he did anchor the drowning GT ship during the match against LSG. After the dismissal of Gill, he played at No.3 and scored 66 runs for the team.

During the previous match, David Miller, Abhinav Manohar, and Rahul Tewatia displayed excellent performances, highlighting the team's strength in batting.

Bowlers: Rashid Khan, Alzarri Joseph, Mohammed Shami, Mohit Sharma, and Joshua Little

GT's bowling attack is considered by many to be the strongest this year, thanks to the presence of top-class bowlers like Mohammed Shami, Rashid Khan, Alzarri Joseph, and Joshua Little. Mohit Sharma's addition has also proven to be advantageous for the team.

Whether it's Shami's skill in varying his deliveries effectively in the final overs, Joseph's impressive seven-wicket haul in only a few innings, or Rashid Khan's hattrick against KKR. It doesn't get any better. Rashid Khan is currently at No.2 spot for the purple cap with 14 wickets in just 7 innings.

Predicted Playing XI of Gujarat Titans:

Wriddhiman Saha (wk), Shubman Gill, Sai Sudharsan, Hardik Pandya (c), David Miller, Rahul Tewatia, Rashid Khan, Alzarri Joseph, Mohammed Shami, Mohit Sharma, and Joshua Little
