It was a huge moment in the game when Royal Challengers Bangalore's (RCB) regular skipper Faf du Plessis was left in disbelief as a direct hit from Rajasthan Royals' (RR) fielder Yashasvi Jaiswal from mid-off ran him out. Batting on 62, the momentum of the game changed as RCB lost their third wicket on the score of 139 breaking the 127-run stand between Faf and Glenn Maxwell.

It was the second ball of the fourteenth over from Sandeep Sharma when du Plessis drove one to Jaiswal at mid-off as he was very quick to get to it and throw it to hit the stumps before the batter could arrive at the non-striker's end.

Du Plessis played a very fine knock with two sixes and eight fours as he only took 39 deliveries to score this much, batting at a strike rate of almost 159. Meanwhile, he rescued the innings when his side were 12 for 2 with stand-in skipper Virat Kohli departing on the very first delivery.

The match was in a very crucial stage by then as one followed another with Maxwell falling to Ravichandran Ashwin in the very next over as he couldn't execute his reverse sweep well.

By the time of writing, RCB were 162 for the loss of four wickets with two new batters Dinesh Karthik and Mahipal Lomror at the crease.
