Arjun Tendulkar is taking leaps and bounds in his debut Indian Premier League season for Mumbai Indians. The young left-arm seamer is just getting better in each game passing and standing up to the reputation of the 'Tendulkar' tag. In the game against Punjab Kings on Saturday, Junior Tendulkar showcased his prowess by bowling a snorter against Prabhsimran Singh to watch his back.

Arjun, who usually bowls his first few overs up-front, just bowled the first over of the powerplay before MI's skipper brought him back after the powerplay.

The seamer was welcomed with a pull for a boundary by Atharva Taide, after which he sprayed a wide down the legside. However, he made a statement against the right-handed Prabhsimran, who got a yorker from nowhere, and it hit him on the boot in front of the stumps.

The batter reviewed but only to watch the embarrassment on the big screen. Despite making a comeback in the over, Tendulkar got thumped for another boundary off Taide.

At the time of writing, the game hangs in the balance as Punjab have notched up 83 runs after 10 overs, but Piyush Chawla's double-wicket over has fared Mumbai back into the game.
