Chennai Super Kings (CSK) continued their winning run as they thrashed the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in a rather one-sided game on Friday.

Put into bat, SRH struggled against the quality bowling attack of CSK, as Ravindra Jadeja spun his web and picked up 3 for 22 in his allotted 4 overs.

Abhishek Sharma (34) showed a bit of resilience, but the big names failed once again as SRH crumbled under pressure and lost the game by 7 wickets to stay at the bottom of the table.

After the game, CSK skipper MS Dhoni had a brief chat with the broadcaster. The former Indian captain gave a slight hint about when he is planning to hang his boots, and also praised the CSK bowlers for the way they bowled.

"Well I think it's my last phase of my career and I am enjoying my cricket. Good to be here and playing in Chennai. They give a lot of adulation and I am not complaining about not batting."

MSD also had a word of wisdom for the young Pathirana, who showed great courage against a strong SRH batting lineup.

"Pathirana has got good pace and line and length and has been the find for us. I am happy for him. I was quite hesitant of batting second. Dew was not there, but the spinners bowled well and the pacers came back well especially Pathirana. The middle overs is what we set it up."

After a loss against the Rajasthan Royals, CSK have bounced back with back-to-back wins. This was a complete team performance, and it has helped the Yellow Army strengthen their position in the points table, with 4 wins under their belt.
