Mohammed Siraj delivered a match-winning performance against Punjab Kings as he picked four wickets bowling impressively in the Powerplay and at the death. He has been absolutely fantastic this season has now picked 12 wickets in 6 matches and is now a proud owner of Purple Cap.

The match between PBKS and RCB was an entertaining one and it was Mohammed Siraj's four-wicket haul that turned out to be a game-changer. He eventually went onto win the Player of the Match award too and had a candid chat with Murali Kartik after the game.

Siraj said that he missed the length on the first ball and bowled a bit short and added that he pitched it up as he knew he will get some swing. Tells that if he picks a wicket in the Powerplay, he sets the tone and and puts the opposition under pressure.

"I missed my length on the first ball and bowled a bit short. I got some swing so thought of pitching it a bit up. If I pick a wicket in the Powerplay then I will set the tone for the future matches as the opposition team gets under pressure,"

Siraj, fondly called as Miya Bhai also talked about the work he put on in the lockdown and said that his performances were going down before Lockdown. He added that he worked in the gym and on his bowling and came out more confident in the next edition of IPL after lockdown.

"The lockdown was most important for me because my performances went down before that. I thought it as my last year and gave my best in the lockdown. I worked hard in the gym and focused on my bowling which made me confident in the next IPL,"

The RCB pacer also talked about his mindset and said the wants to improve in every facet of the game and he doesn't want to lose a place for not being able to be good at anything on the cricket field.

"I want to improve in every facet of the game because I don't want to lose my place in the team for not being able to do this or that so I want to improve in every facet of the game."

RCB will now play their next game at their home ground, M. Chinnaswamy against RR on Sunday, 23rd of April.
