PBKS vs RCB: Mohammed Siraj Sizzles in the Powerplay; Punjab Rocked Early

Mohammed Siraj's and Powerplay is a love story to behold. He has been absolutely brilliant in the Powerplay in recent times in international cricket for India and has started off with a bang in IPL 2023. Siraj's ability to move the ball both ways both in the air and off the seam makes him a dangerous bowler in the Powerplay and the Siraj has backed it up with immaculate lines and lengths.
In the ongoing game against PBKS too, Siraj has shown his red-hot form and has picked two big wickets to put RCB on top in their bid to defend 174 they put on in the first innings courtesy a fifty by Faf du Plessis. Siraj got Atharva Taide in just the second ball and then backed it up by sending back Livingstone in his second over to continue his Powerplay dominance. Before this game, Siraj has bowled 50 dot balls from 72 deliveries in the Powerplay phase in IPL 2023 and has bowled with average of 14.50 at an economy rate of 6.44 overall in IPL 2023.
Siraj also then showed his skills in the field and fired a direct hit at the non-striker's end to dismiss Harpreet Singh in the final over of the Powerplay. At the time of writing, Punjab Kings are 70-4 at the end of 9 overs with Prabhsimran Singh bringing some balance back in the game with his sparkling strokeplay.
