Rohit Sharma is a Legend, there is no doubting that and in his illustrious career, the man has shattered plenty of big records that very few players can even dream of. In international cricket, Rohit Sharma has smashed three double centuries in ODIs and has emerged as one of India's finest across formats for over a decade now.

In the IPL too, he has been pretty dominant both with the bat and as a leader. He has won MI five IPL titles while as a batter he has now crossed 6000 IPL runs. He achieved that feat against SRH in game 25 of IPL 2023 and became only the fourth player in IPL to reach that milestone.  He crossed 6000 runs with some style and swag as well as he hammered a powerful pull shot against Washington Sundar. The other three that crossed 6000 IPL runs before Rohit Sharma are Virat Kohli, David Warner and Shikhar Dhawan.

Rohit Sharma started his IPL journey with Deccan Chargers Hyderabad as a young player and then went onto lead MI for the first time in the 2013 season. MI won the championship that season and Rohit Sharma has now taken MI to heights no team has been able to reach so far. As a batter, Rohit’s best season was the same 2013 season when he scored 538 runs.

In the game against SRH, Rohit started off on a bright note but departed in the 5th over after a brisk knock of 28 off 18 balls. At the time of writing, MI are 53-1 at the end of 6th over against SRH with T Natarajan getting rid of dangerous-looking Rohit Sharma.
