IPL 2023 | 'Amazing to Bat with Jos Buttler Bhai': Yashasvi Jaiswal

One of India's most promising batters, Yashasvi Jaiswal has starred for the Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 season. After a poor 2022 edition, Jaiswal has slammed 130 runs in five matches and provided the Royals' explosive starts along with Jos Buttler.
The Sanju Samson-led side are placed first in the IPL points table with four wins and one loss after a thrilling win over Gujarat Titans on Saturday.
In an interview with NEWS18, the left-handed opener talked about his experience of batting with Buttler, Shimron Hetmyer's power-hitting, and Kumar Sangakkara.
Jaiswal and Buttler have added 209 runs upfront for the Royals across five matches.
The 20-year-old revealed how amazing he has felt about batting with Buttler, and also what he is learning from Sangakarra.
Here's what Jaiswal said
"It’s amazing to bat with Jos (Buttler) bhai and I am learning a lot from him. Whenever we are together and batting together, it’s really helpful. We enjoy batting and of course, having him around is really nice."
"It’s been wonderful working with someone like Kumar Sangakkara and it has been our pleasure to have him with us. His thoughts, his experience, and the way he thinks about the game, it’s really nice. And learning from him and hearing from him before and after the match, what I should do, what I shouldn’t, everything is so nice."
The Mumbai-born further expressed excitement about playing in Jaipur and performing for the team.
They take on the Lucknow Super Giants on Wednesday at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium to consolidate their place at the top.
