It was another thriller in the Indian Premier League (IPL) which went into the last over as Punjab Kings (PBKS) triumphed over Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) at Ekana Stadium. With 7 required off the final over, Shahrukh held his nerve to finish the game against Ravi Bishnoi on 3rd ball with two wickets to spare.

As the match finished, Shahrukh came to speak and mentioned that he is content with how he played along with this, he praised his Zimbabwean teammate Sikandar Raza for his valuable match-winning innings of 57 helped big time for the Mohali-based franchise.

Further, the 27-year-old remarked that he came a little to the crease than what he would have liked. However, things worked out well for him in the end as he managed the finish the game for his side.

Moreover, the big-hitter told that he wanted Harpreet Brar to go for the big shot in the end which didn't pan out the way they expected as Mark Wood dismissed him on the second last delivery of the over.

"Yeah, I am really feeling good. The way everyone played. Raza played very well. I thought I just came into the middle a bit late. Just when Jitesh got out it was a strategic timeout. I try to use my power. If I try to be cheeky it doesn't work for me. When Brar was batting, I just said him to go for a big shot as I was at the other end even if he gets out. Unfortunately, he got out to Wood."

After this victory, Shahrukh Khan would next come to bat for Punjab when they take on Royal Challengers Bangalore on 20th of April.
