Kyle Mayers is one of the most talented cricketers going around in world cricket and time and again he has displayed that with some mesmerising strokeplay. He has been in tremendous form in the ongoing 16th edition of the IPL as well and has played couple of impact knocks for LSG at the top of the order.

Mayers has plenty of shots in his kitty and can play all around the ground. However, his back foot punches over covers and extra covers for sixes has always created a lot of buzz. He did that against Australia in T20I and Test cricket too and here once again, against Punjab Kings he displayed his tremendous talent by punching Sam Curran off the back foot over covers for a maximum.

It was a slower delivery as well from Sam Curran which means that Mayers had to bring all the power into the shot from his side and he did that with some class and finesse.

The shot came in the 4th over of the Lucknow-Punjab game and Mayers went onto score 29 runs off 23 balls in that game. His short sparkling knock included three sixes and a four and overall, he has entertained lot of fans in the IPL 2023 by batting with sheer swag at the top of the order for LSG.
