So, that is all we have from the live blog of this game. RCB have made their fans proud in this game by defending just a par total and now we have LSG taking on Punjab Kings in the second match of Super Saturday. Till then, it's all from my side for today, this is Aashay Chopade signing off on behalf of OneCricket.

                                                               RCB win by 23 runs!!!!

An absolutely brilliant bowling display by RCB boys!! It looked like they were below-par with the bat but they came out with great intent with the ball and got three DC wickets with just 2 runs on the board. DC were always behind the 8-ball after that with Warner also getting out early and then young debutant, Vijaykumar Vyshak showed lot of heart to pick three wickets. Rest of the lot chipped in too and RCB notched up and important win in the end.

DC on the other hand, would be very disappointed with their batting effort. They just lost their way in the Powerplay itself and only Manish Pandey showed some fight. They bowled well though but with five losses in five games, they now need a miracle to get back in the competition.

Anrich Nortje is enjoying himself in the middle now and has raced to 23 off 14 balls. The match though is done and dusted and it is just a matter of few deliveries now.

Siraj gets his second wicket and RCB are just one away from a big win!!! Kohli takes another catch as Aman Khan fails to clear long on. DC would be pretty disappointed with this effort, they just could not find a way to get into this chase and kept losing wickets regularly.

Just for some fun...

DC need 52 runs from 18 balls!!!!

Anrich Nortje walks out to the middle now...DC fans would be in a hope of a miracle!!!

This has been a dream debut for Vyshak!!!! He gets his third wicket now and DC lose their 8th wicket!! Bowls a knuckle ball on a length and all Lalit yadav manages to do is to hit it straight down the throat of Maxwell at long off. The crowd is enjoying itself and RCB are on the verge of a big morale-boosting win here!

OUT! LBW! Manish Pandey is gone now and with him, we can say the slim hopes of DC too. Good review from RCB this, Pandey was given NOT OUT initially and was looking confident too but to his surprise, the replays show that he is a goner!!! DC are 94/7!!!

FIFTY for Manish Pandey, this has been a good fighting knock from the local boy, he has played lot of cricket on this ground and is making full use of his experience. No real celebration though as he knows his team needs a lot more from him...

Aman Khan is the next man in...

And...the partnership is broken!!! Axar Patel is gone and this could well be a killer-blow from Vijaykumar Vyshak. A slower length delivery on off. Patel tries to go over the top but fails to get any timing as the ball goes high in air towards mid on where Siraj takes it comfortably...

DC are 76-5 at the end of 12 overs!!! 99 needed now from 48 balls and with both these batters set now, they would be looking to up the ante now.. The next two-three overs could be the defining overs of this game...

Axar Patel walks out to the middle now!! He has been in a stellar form with the bat this season. Can he take DC out of this rut? Let's find out...

OUT!!!! CAUGHT!!!!Harshal Patel now outfoxes Abishek Porel with a slower delivery and RCB have got their fifth wicket. A brilliant slower delivery, a low full toss on middle. Porel is early in his shot and gets a big top edge to long on where Wayne Parnell takes the catch comfortably. DC are 53-5 in the 9th over and it is time for the Strategic Time-Out!!!! RCB all over DC now!!

Let's look at Virat's vintage fifty celebration....

Wanindu Hasaranga is into the attack now and Pandey welcomes him with a boundary...

Can the duo of Manish Pandey and Abishek Porel bail DC out of trouble?

Oh, man!!! The debutant Vyshak Vijay Kumar gets the wicket of Legend, David Warner!!! What a moment for a young man and DC now have lost four wickets in the Powerplay. A Shortish delivery on off. Warner goes for the pull shot but gets the bottom of his blade and it is easily taken by Virat Kohli at mid-wicket. DC are 34-4 at the end of 6 overs!!!

Three boundaries in a row for WARNER!!!! DC are 25/3 at the end of 5 overs!!!!

Another one bites the dust!!! RCB on fire!!! Siraj gets rid of Yash Dhull and DC have been rocked early.  Siraj is bowling with some great intensity here and gets his reward. World-class stuff this!! This is a dream start for RCB boys and outwalk the local boy, Manish Pandey for Delhi now...

The crowd goes berserk!!! Mitchell Marsh is gone now and Wayne Parnell strikes!!!! This is a big, big wicket as Marsh has the ability to dismantle any bowling attack in the world. Parnell bowls it on a length on middle and leg. Marsh plays it early and gets a leading edge to cover-point where Virat Kohli takes an easy catch.

Mitchell Marsh walks out to the middle now...

Prithvi Shaw is RUN OUT! This is poor, poor from Shaw. He is gone for another duck and he really needs to pull his socks, he has been pretty casual in his approach in recent times. He was very slow when Warner wanted a second run couple of balls back and again here he was slow to get off the blocks. Pushed it to covers, where Rawat makes a great stop at short extra cover. Fires a direct hit at the bowler's end and send back Shaw back to the hut

We are back for the run-chase!!! DC have brought in Prithvi Shaw as an Impact Player for Mustafizur Rahman and he will open with David Warner. Mohammed Siraj is the man with a new ball in his hand... Here we go...

RCB finish with 174-6 at the end of their 20 overs!!!

It's been 15 long years that RCB have not been able to lift the trophy and if you have seen RCB batting today, you will know exactly why! Their tactics were baffling to say the least and they just don't seem to have an idea of who are their middle order mainstays and which batter's potential can be maximised at a particular position.

Virat Kohli and Faf Du Plessis got off to a brisk start but once Faf du Plessis departed, there were already some jitters in the RCB dressing room. Kohli got to his fifty and Maxwell also was looking in a dangerous mood but DC spinners bowled well along with Mitchell Marsh and RCB just lost their way. Kuldeep Yadav got Maxwell and DK on consecutive deliveries but more than that, RCB not using the power of Hasaranga and Parnell and going with Anuj Rawat is really surprising.

Will we see DC registering their first win of the season? Or will RCB come up with an inspired bowling performance? Stay tuned for the run-chase!!!

6 balls to go...Can RCB get to 180? They need 14 in the final over to get to that score...Looks highly unlikely!!!

Honestly, we have seen some baffling tactics from RCB in this game. First they sent out Harshal Patel at number 5 from nowhere and then have brought Anuj Rawat at the death as an Impact Player when they have Wanindu Hasaranga, Wayne Parnell still in the ranks..

I am afraid, RCB are going to fall way short of a par total here. Three overs left now and they are 146-6! Here is Anrich Nortje looking to shatter RCB hopes further...

Anuj Rawat walks in as an Impact Player and makes sure that Kuldeep Yadav does not get a hat-trick here. RCB in all sorts of trouble though - They are 136/6 at the end of 15 overs....

Just for some fun....

Oh, my word! RCB are losing their way here!!! Three in three for DC and it is a team-hat-trick... MAXWELL AND DK are gone!!! Dinesh Karthik goes for a golden duck and Kuldeep Yadav is on a hat-trick!!!! Maxwell departed on a tossed up delivery looking to go for a big one while DK holes out at deep mid-wicket to a shortish delivery... Can Kuldeep Yadav get a hat-trick???

Shahbaz Ahmed is the next man in....

Is Harshal Patel gone here?  Yes he is!!! Another batter departs straightaway after hitting a six. RCB now lose their fourth wicket and Axar Patel gets his first wicket. Harshal Patel tried to go downtown but gets the faintest of edge to the keeper. Porel actually appealed for the stumping first up but the replays showed that Harshal has also got an edge on this one....

Surprise, Surprise!!!! Guess, who walks out to bat now, it is Harshal Patel!! They have done this for the second time this season and with plenty of quality players to follow, this is quite an interesting decision...

Mitchell Marsh strikes again!!! Has the last laugh, he was hit for a six in the last ball but gets rid of Lomror now! Good review this from David Warner as well and credit should be given to Marsh for urging his skipper to take DRS here. Can Capitals seize the initiative here?

RCB are 110-2 at the end of their 12 overs! Can they get at least 90 runs in the last 8 overs and reach that 200-run mark!!!

Maxwell is off the blocks straightaway....TWO huge sixes in his first four deliveries and it is 100 up for RCB as well. He is the kind of player you want to see batting most of the balls at the Chinnaswamy

The big show, MAXI is in the middle now...

OH, NOOO!!!! RCB FANS, VIRAT KOHLI IS GONE!!!! He tried to go for a big one but fails to clear the mid-wicket fence as Yash Dhull takes a well-judged catch near the ropes and it is Lalit Yadav who gets a big wicket

FIFTY for Virat Kohli!!!!!! His third fifty this season and it has come off 33 balls. Are we seeing the shades of 2016 season. Kohli is absolutely pumped up after his fifty - Can he carry on and get a big one today?

It's time for the first Strategic Time-Out of the game - DC have controlled things quite well here after the wicket of Faf du Plessis. RCB are 61-1 at the end of 8 overs and need to up the ante as they would need to get close to 200 to post problems for DC in the second half. Remember, this is a six-hitting ground and RCB are probably missing sheer power here...

Mahipal Lomror walks out to the middle...

Ohh, Faf du Plessis is gone!!! Mitchell Marsh strikes and this is a big blow to RCB!!!! Much-needed this for DC. These two have been fantastic for RCB at the start and with a wicket now in the Powerplay, the pressure will be on the middle order to get going. Short of good length and on off. Faf goes for a big heave across the line and gets it off the inside half of his blade. Aman Khan though move swiftly to his right and takes a sharp catch....Game on, folks!!!!

Mitchell Marsh is into the attack and he is smashed for a boundary straightaway....

So, RCB are off to a brisk start - 26/0 at the end of 3 overs!!! Actually, the decision to bowl Axar in the Powerplay is a pretty good one as both these right-handers tend to struggle against the left-arm orthodox spin.

The King Virat Kohli is underway in style!!!! Two boundaries in a row to Nortje. The man is looking in great touch this season and determined to take RCB to the heights they have never reached before. 11 coming from the first over!!!

The stage is set for some fireworks here at Chinnaswamy - Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis walk out to the middle and it will be Anrich Nortje to start the proceedings... Get ready for some rapid bullets from the Speedster...

Delhi Capitals have a golden opportunity now to seal their first win of the season. They are chasing and at Chinnaswamy, it is a sure shot advantage. Also, Mitchell Marsh is back and this ground will suit his style of play. Overall, don't be surprised if this game goes right down to the wire again...

We are moments away from the all-important toss....
