Rishabh Pant Joins Delhi Capitals Ahead of RCB Fixture

Without Rishabh Pant in the Indian Premier League (IPL 2023), Delhi Capitals' conditions have been pitiful. They have begun their campaign with three back-to-back losses, with both batting and bowling not clicking for the David Warner-led unit.

The franchise is having severe problems in its composition as they have yet to recognise their strongest XI, and their core players need to contribute on the stage.

Skipper Warner is scoring runs for DC, but those runs aren't helping them, as they are coming at a pathetic scoring rate. Meanwhile, bowling is leaking runs in every phase of the play. Their sole ray of hope has been the all-round performances of Axar Patel, but they are also going in vain. All in all, the Capitals are missing the void left by their regular captain Rishabh Pant - both as batter and leader of the team.

However, Pant - who is recovering after a near-death accident - has been in the stands, supporting his team in tough times. He was cheering for DC during the fixture against Gujarat at Arun Jaitley Stadium. And, now, the injured stumper has decided to take a step further to travel to Bangalore to support the table-dwellers extensively.

On Friday, Pant was seen during Delhi's nets ahead of their upcoming clash against Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Both DC and RCB have been poor units in the IPL 2023 of late. The latter started their campaign with a near-perfect victory over the Mumbai Indians, but they have lost the plot since then. Delhi, on the flip side, are still searching for their maiden win in the tournament.

Bangalore and Delhi will be at loggerheads at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium on Saturday.
