Sandeep Sharma made his debut in IPL back in 2013 and the right-arm pacer has played over 100 games in the IPL with a good amount of success. However, it is his performance against the duo of MS Dhoni and Jadeja in the last over of the CSK-RR game at Chepauk that will be remembered forever in the history of the IPL.

It will also be a moment to cherish for the 29-year old bowler who showed immense composure and skills to execute his yorkers in the last three deliveries of the match after the equation came down to CSK needing 7 off 3 deliveries. CSK initially needed 21 from the final over but MSD slammed two sixes to put all the pressure on Sharma but he eventually came out as a deserving winner in the battle of nerves and skills.

Talking after the match, Sandeep Sharma explained his plans in the last over. He said that he just wanted to execute yorkers and added that the was bowling good yorkers in the nets. He, however, admitted that he got his execution wrong at the start and bowled full tosses which went for maximums. He also talked about the change of angles he used while bowling to Jadeja and Dhoni. He informed that he wanted to bowl from 'round the wicket to Dhoni after he smashed two sixes when he bowled from over the wicket.

"I just wanted to execute the yorkers in the last overs. I am bowling good yorkers in the nets and I tried to bowl yorkers at the heel. But it turned out to be low full tosses and it went for maximums. Thereafter, I decided to change my plans and went around the wicket. I tried to bowl yorkers to Jadeja from over the wicket and wanted to change angles for Mahi bhai as he smashed me for two maximums from the other angle."

Rajasthan Royals have moved to the top of the table with this win and  will face Gujarat Titans in their next game on 16th of April at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad.
