After the fourth consecutive loss for the Delhi Capitals (DC) in the Indian Premier League (IPL), skipper David Warner talked about what needs to be done in order to secure their first victory of the season.

The Australian superstar lauded his side to perform well in this nail-biting encounter as they lost the match on the final ball of the game after not being able to defend two runs. Warner who secured a half-century in this encounter looked quite pleased with the kind of effort his side had put in.

Moreover, he was appreciative of the opposition's skipper Rohit Sharma who snatched the game with his magnificent knock early on in the game. Adding to this, David reflected on the missed run-out and justified that it was the right thing to do on that stage.

"You look at the last three IPL games we have witnessed, they have been amazing. Wrong end of it today, but the guys were fantastic. Rohit played a fantastic knock at the top of the order. Nortje is world-class and that's what we expect from him, Mustafiz too. Timmy David was on the wrong side of it, so I tried to keep it at stump-height,"

Further, the stand-in captain mentioned that there are a lot of positives to look for but the most important one would be Axar Patel's batting which has shined at the right time for them today scoring a brilliant 22-ball half-century. After this, he made a big revelation that the Southpaw should be batting in the top four primarily because of the way he has been scoring runs.

"I think from the last three games, we've some positives but we shouldn't lost wickets in clumps. Axar should bat in the top four the way he is striking the ball. From the last three games we have played, there are a lot of positives."

Warner's Capitals would next be playing at the M.Chinnaswamy Stadium against the Royals Challengers Bangalore on 15th April.
