Australian Legend Reveals RCB's 'Major' Weakness Ahead Of Mega Clash Against LSG

On Monday, Royal Challengers Bangalore will take on Lucknow Super Giants in the 15th match of the ongoing Indian Premier League season. RCB, who lost their second group-stage fixture against Kolkata Knight Riders, would like to bounce back by winning this face-off.

Meanwhile, former Australian cricketer Tom Moody has explained what might prevent the hosts from getting back on the winning track tonight.

As quoted by News18 Cricket Next, Moody reckoned that RCB have a vulnerable middle order, which LSG must try to exploit by dismissing their openers early in the innings.

"To me, RCB’s middle order looks weak, and teams will aim to take advantage of this fact and pick up the wickets of Kohli and Faf early. If the opposition teams manage to take a couple of wickets in the powerplays, they’ll be (very much) in the game against RCB."

Moody seems astute in his assessment, as a middle-order collapse led RCB to a shambolic 81-run defeat against KKR. With Rajat Patidar out of the tournament, Faf du Plessis and co are still searching for their number three, with Anuj Rawat, Suyash Prabhudessai and Mahipal Lomror being the probables.

So, it will be interesting to see how they rebuild their innings in case the openers get out cheaply.
