The MI-CSK game is always one of the biggest in the IPL, fondly called as El-Clasico. MI have the upper hand in the overall battle between both teams but CSK made sure that they registered their fourth win at the Wankhede, and did that with some style and swag.

All their bowlers bowled well after Deepak Chahar was ruled out early in the game but with the bat, it was Rahane who played a spectacular knock that left everyone awe-struck. He smashed fifty in just 19 balls and eventually departed at the score of 61 off just 27 balls. It was the first game for Rahane this season and the stylish right-hander had some good insights to share after the match.

Rahane informed that he got to know that he is playing before the toss. He also mentioned that Moeen Ali was unwell and Fleming told him he was playing. He added that he had good domestic season and he just wanted to back his strength and play his shots and not try to hit them hard.

This is what Ajinkya Rahane said:

"Ravi Bhai, how are you? Really enjoyed. I got to know before the toss. Moeen was unwell and Flem told me that I was playing. I had a good domestic season. That's my strength, I wanted to back my strength, hold my shape, play my strokes and not smash the balls hard,"

Rahane also emphasised on the fact that one needs to be ready to play before every game. He mentioned that it is a long tournament and added that he always enjoys playing at the Wankhede. Rahane also stated that he never played a Test match at the Wankhede, something he would like to do and added that he knows Wankhede very well.

"Before every game you have to think that you are in the game, you have to be ready. IPL is a long tournament and you don't know when you are going to get a game. I always enjoyed playing at the Wankhede. Never played a Test match here yet and would like to play. I know the ground well,"

He also applauded Dhoni and Fleming for giving freedom to their players. He added that they told him to play his game and focus on his process and stated that he was visualizing and prepared for the game.

"I think it is the important thing about Mahi bhai and Flem is to they give you the freedom. They told me to play my game, focus on your process and focus on your game. Luckily I was ready. I visualize myself and be prepared for my game. Thank You Ravi Bhai."

CSK will now go back to their home ground, Chepauk for the next game which will be against high-flying Rajasthan Royals. That game will be played on Wednesday, 12th of April and expect it to be another cracking encounter.
