Playing in his first-ever season of the cash-rich Indian Premier League (IPL), Joe Root has been one of the most respected names in world cricket because of his sheer talent and skills on the field.
However, this time the English superstar is in the news for a different reason altogether that is grabbing the headlines.
To the unversed, Root was picked by Rajasthan Royals for his base price of ₹1 Crore at the auctions last year. But unfortunately, he hasn't featured in any of the games so far for his side.
In the latest video shared by the Rajasthan Royals, Joe could be seen sharing the stage with Indian leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal where the duo is dancing as they showcase their hook steps.
The video is captioned "Welcome to IPL (Yuzi style) Roooot!" as it is garnering much love from the fans.
Previously, Chahal emerged as the leading wicket-taker in the 2022 edition of the league along with being the second-highest in the history of the league.
Rajasthan will play their next match against Delhi Capitals on the 8th of April at Barsapara Cricket Stadium, Guwahati.
