After a breathtaking inning from the Mumbai Indians superstar Tilak Varma rescuing his side during a tough situation, the left-hander ended the innings with a splendid shot that grabbed the attention of the netizens.

The Hyderabad batter was on the score of 78 before the last ball of the innings was delivered by Harshal Patel as he banged the last ball for a six playing the iconic helicopter shot towards the long-on.

Tilak's innings was impactful in the sense that they brought MI back into the game giving Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) a decent target to chase.

Varma's classy innings came after the opposition's bowlers Mohammed Siraj and Karn Sharma starred with the ball.

Later, chasing 172 for victory, skipper Faf du Plessis and Virat Kohli played crucial knocks to take their side home inside 17 overs as Mumbai's pacer Jofra Archer and Jason Behrendorff couldn't do much.

Varma was crucial with the bat last year too as he smashed 397 runs in 14 matches for MI at a strike rate of 131.

Tilak will next be seen playing for Mumbai Indians when they next take the field against Chennai Super Kings on 8th April.
