In a rather one-side encounter between the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and the Delhi Capitals (DC) in Match 3 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023, the former emerged victorious with a stunning 50-run win. The KL Rahul-led side demonstrated remarkable performances in both batting and bowling, much to the delight of their fans.

After the match, Rahul expressed his satisfaction with the team's overall performance and lauded their combined efforts in securing an emphatic win. He also acknowledged that the team was initially unsure of the pitch but took an aggressive approach against the spinners, which ultimately put them under pressure.

“It was a great start. We were clueless of the pitch, nice way to start. We'll take confidence from this win,” said Rahul.

“The way Kyle (Mayers) batted. I thought they started well, but we came back well. It was Wood's day today, it's a dream for a fast bowler and a team. He made it count,” added the Lucknow skipper.
