Famous actresses Tamannah Bhatia and Rashmika Mandanna, who are going to perform at the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 ceremony, disclosed the names of their favourite cricketers.

After completing their rehearsals on eve of the IPL 2023 opener, Tamannah and Rashmika were interviewed in which the celebrity duo talked about their grand performances that are staged just before the kick-off of the showpiece event.

"Performing on stage is something that I have enjoyed from the start of my career. In addition to that, performing for IPL, which has been through so much after the COVID-19 is really very exhilarating. I will be performing with Arijit (Singh) and Rashmika (Mandhana) and I am really looking forward to it," Tamannah said in a video posted on the official Twitter handle of the IPL.


"I also wanted to witness the opportunity. Today I am going to be performing before an IPL match – so I am like 'I made it," Mandanna mentioned.

MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli are their favourite cricketers of these movie stars, as revealed by them.

"Movies and cricket are really close to us, kind of what we have been brought up with. Dhoni is everyone's favourite and I am no different, Virat also," Tamannah added.


"Generally when I watch a cricket match my emotions are too up and down and I only like to check out the scores. Dhoni sir and Virat sir are my favourites of course," Mandanna shared.

Apart from Tamannah and Rashmika, singer Arijit Singh and a few other celebrities will light up the stage in the IPL 2023 curtain-raiser.
