Adding his voice to the chorus is none other than former England captain Michael Vaughan. Known for his outspokenness on Twitter, Vaughan has issued a big statement, boldly predicting the winner of this season's cash-rich league.

As we approach the opening match between CSK and GT on Wednesday, Vaughan took to Twitter to share his thoughts on the upcoming season. He has thrown his support behind Rajasthan Royals, led by the talented Sanju Samson, to clinch the coveted trophy this year.

In IPL 2022, Samson turned back the clock to the team's 2008 victory and led them to the final, where they ultimately fell to Gujarat Titans. The Royals secured second place on the points table with an impressive record of 9 wins and 5 defeats, totalling 18 points from 14 matches. They overcame Royal Challengers Bangalore in Qualifier 2 to make it to the final, but were outplayed by Hardik Pandya's Gujarat Titans.
