The 'Orange Army' was at their best during the 2016 season under the leadership of David Warner. He has been the best skipper in the history of the team so far. Besides Warner, Williamson has also led the team quite successfully. He took the team to the summit clash in the 2018 season, but lost to Chennai Super Kings and were deprived of their second title in three years.

Barring the two seasons, SRH made it to the play-offs in 2013, 2017, 2019 and 2020. So in all these years, there have been players who made valuable contributions in the success of the team. In this article we will take a look at the all-time XI of Sunrisers Hyderabad.

David Warner (c) and Shikhar Dhawan

David Warner:  The Aussie superstar is probably the most valuable player in the short history of SRH in IPL. David Warner has played 95 matches for the franchise in which he has scored 4014 runs at an average of 49.56 and a strike rate of 142.59. He will also our captain of the team as it was under his leadership that they were able to lift their maiden title in 2016. S

Shikhar Dhawan: The Indian opener had been a stable presence in the top-order of SRH for an extended period of time. Shikhar Dhawan played 85 matches for them and scored 2518 runs in them at an average of 34.39 and a strike rate of 124.28. Dhawan's presence at the top will provide solidity to this eleven alongside Warner's destruction.

Middle-Order of SRH All-time XI

Kane Williamson, Rahul Tripathi, Naman Ojha (wk)

Kane Williamson: The Kiwi batter had been the backbone of the SRH batting for a long time. In the initial stages Kane Williamson did not get play much because of the overseas quota problem, but gradually he made himself an integral part of the SRH set up with solid performances. Williamson has played 76 matches for the franchise in which he has amassed 2101 runs. His average of 36.22 speaks about his outstanding consistency for the team.

Rahul Tripathi: The Indian top-order batter adds the much needed dynamism to the SRH all-time XI. Though Rahul Tripathi's career in the franchise is still in a nascent stage, he has already payed some impactful knocks for them. In 14 matches, Tripathi has scored 413 runs at an average of 37.13 and an outstanding strike-rate of 158.24. He is still a part of the squad and will play a big role in how far the team goes in the upcoming edition of the tournament.

Naman Ojha (wk): The Indian wicketkeeper might appear a strange pick at the first look. But his presence allows the balance of the overseas players in the eleven. And if we take a look at his career it has been an average one, and one can use Ojha as the floater in this batting line-up giving a bit of flexibility to the team.

Lower Order of SRH All-time XI
