Australia's Ashes 2023 Squad Released

Australia has selected Phoebe Litchfield and Kim Garth for the multi-format Women's Ashes in England later this year, while Tayla Vlaeminck will be part of the Australia-A group, touring concurrently. 

The 19-year-old, Litchfield, may make her Test debut after the retirement of Rachael Haynes. Depending on the team's needs, she could be used to open the batting or in other positions alongside Beth Mooney and Alyssa Healy.

Back in December, Litchfield made her international debut during the T20I series against India, and in January, she impressed in her first appearance at the ODI level against Pakistan, scoring 154 runs in the three-match series. 


Garth, who made her name during the WPL 2023, is also a strong contender for a Test debut as one of the pace options in a bowling attack that has many options available.

The other notable inclusion is Grace Harris, who has not yet played at the Test level, but she is expected to be involved in the ODIs and T20Is which are part of the multi-format Ashes. 

Apart from Vlaeminck, pacer Maitlan Brown, Amanda-Jade Willington and Heather Graham are the well-known cricketers who would be taking part in three T20I and as many ODIs against England A.
