One of the best Test batters currently, Marnus Labuschagne had a decent series against India in the recent Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2023, however, his outing in the One-Day International (ODI) was forgetful.

Labuschagne, who is back in Australia after winning the ODI series 2-1, spent time on Twitter answering several fan questions that mainly revolved around his India tour and Indian cricketers.

Excerpts from Labuschagne's Twitter Q/A

The 38-year-old slammed 244 runs into the BGT when questioned about who he would want to bat with from the Fab 4 apart from Steve Smith named former Indian captain Virat Kohli as his front-runner.

Ravichandran Ashwin, who has been a thorn in Labuschagne's outings against India, was hailed by the latter as the best spinner.

Suryakumar Yadav, who scored three back-to-back ducks, was picked by Labuschagne as a better batter in T20 cricket than Mohammad Rizwan. Prior to Yadav's rise in T20I cricket, Rizwan was ruling the batting charts.

The No.1 ranked Test batter revealed the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) as his favourite Indian Premier League franchise.

Labuschagne also spoke about Indian skipper Rohit Sharma, who he feels is easy on the eye, and has a smooth bat swing.

The South Africa-born's next assignment will be against India in the ICC World Test Championship in June, ahead of The Ashes 2023 in England.
