What is becoming a major controversy with time, India's reluctance to travel to Pakistan for Asia Cup has got many worried about the future of the event.

Previously, it was reported that India will be playing their Asia Cup matches at a neutral venue while other teams will have their games in Pakistan only.

However, this hasn't gone down well with former Pakistani opening batter Imran Nazir who has called Men in Blue's point for security as an excuse because they do not want to lose.

Moreover, he straightway said that their neighbours are afraid of losing and this is a very simple reason why don't want to play in the Green Nation.

“There is no security reason. Just look at how many teams have been to Pakistan. Forget A teams, even Australia visited. These are all just cover-ups. The truth is that India won't come to Pakistan because they are afraid of losing. Security is just an excuse. Come and play cricket. When you start playing politics, there is no way back,”

Nazir further pointed out that they are indulging cricket with politics which is the sole reason why can't play them and it has been a major concern since they cannot go back once they start it.

The opener added an interesting point that many teams have visited Pakistan in the past with their full strength and what the BCCI is doing is just an excuse.

Previously, India and Pakistan faced off in the T20 World Cup in Melbourne and now, it remains to be seen if the conflict comes to a resolution.
