In the latest ICC Rankings, India's bowling spearhead Mohammed Siraj has dropped two positions to get dethroned from the Number 1 ODI Bowling spot. Australia's Josh Hazlewood and New Zealander Trent Boult have surpassed the Indian seamer to hold the Number 1 & 2 spot, respectively.

Siraj saw a nosedive in his rankings after the Visakhapatnam ODI, where the Mitchell Marsh and Travis Head showdown hampered the Indian bowling to chase a modest total of 118 runs inside 11 overs, resulting in the 28-year-old go for 0/29 in his three-over spell.

Meanwhile, West Indies pacer Alzarri Joseph, who scalped six wickets in two ODIs against South Africa, has seen a spike in two positions to get to his career-best of 11th place. His teammate Akeal Hosein has also got into Top-20 after moving one spot upward.

There has also been some movement in the Test Rankings, courtesy of the spellbinding series between New Zealand and Sri Lanka.

Player of the Series, Kane Williamson, has gained significantly in the rankings, accumulating 51 points to get to 883 Ranking Points, raising four spots.

After his historic 121* and remarkable 215, the former Kiwi skipper has acquired the second position and is now just 32 points behind Australia's Marnus Labuschagne, who has been holding the top spot since mid-2022.
