The caravan now moves to Senwes Park, Potchefstroom from East London as South Africa and West Indies gear up for the third and final ODI of this short three-match ODI series. West Indies came out on top in the second ODI  with a strong all-round performance after rain played spoilsport in the first ODI.

The second one though turned out to be quite an entertaining affair with plenty of fireworks from both the sides and let's see how South Africa responds with their back against the wall going into the final ODI.

Team Preview

South Africa

South Africa will be boosted by the fact that some of their big-ticket players will be back in the mix for this game.  Bavuma scored a brilliant century in the second ODI but he failed to get any support from the inexperienced middle order and now with Aiden Markram, David Miller and Heinrich Klaasen back, South Africa would be pretty confident. Quinton de Kock is also due for some big runs and he may unleash all his might in this game.

Their pacers were bit expensive in the last ODI and they need to tighten up on that aspect. Tabraiz Shamsi would have a big role to play as we have seen Windies batters struggling against spin in recent times especially in ODIs.

West Indies

West Indies, on the other hand, would be high in confidence after a win in the second ODI. Their new skipper made a bold move to bring himself down the order and made an impact straightaway carrying his team to a huge total with a fantastic unbeaten century. The other batters also contributed their bit and overall Windies would be pretty happy with their batting performance.

On the bowling front, Alzarri Joseph and Akeal Hosein are their trump card but they need the likes of Jason Holder and Odean Smith to make more impact.  So, West Indies would need to be play their A-game again as South Africa is expected to hit back strongly in this game.

Pitch Report

The pitch at the Senwes Park generally provides good balance between bat and ball. The bowlers, both pacers and spinners will find some help from the pitch but batters too can get big runs if they apply themselves in the middle. Overall, we can expect a surface that can test the patience of both batters and bowlers.
