David Warner continues to be on the sideline as he missed the second ODI against India on Sunday. It has now been reported that the Aussie opener suffered from a Corked quad and is unlikely to play a part in the third ODI as well.

Warner, who last played for Australia in the second Test of the Border-Gavaskar series, suffered from concussion and was subsequently ruled out of the Test series. It has been a topsy-turvy year for the southpaw who continues to battle through injuries.

Mitch Marsh, who opened alongside Travis Head in the first ODI will continue to don his new role when the Aussies come out to bat. Moreover, Glenn Maxwell has also been rested by the team management, as he continues his slow return from a broken left fibula.

Moreover, Josh Inglis, who failed to impress in the first ODI has been replaced by Alex Carey, who has recovered from illness.

Interestingly, Australia have strengthened their bowling with the inclusion of Nathan Ellis, who gets a game in place of Maxwell.

Talking about the match, India are already pushed on the back-foot. They are 6 down for 74, with Virat Kohli the latest batter back in the hut for 31.
