With just three months to go for the much-awaited The Ashes 2023 series, England pacer Ollie Robinson has already begun with mind games. Robinson, who has emerged as one of England's most preferred Test bowlers lately, said has issued a fresh warning to Australia ahead of their tour due in June.

In an interview with BBC Radio Sussex, the lanky fast-bowler stated that with Brendon McCullum and Ben Stokes at the helm, England can reclaim the urn back, and produce entertaining Test cricket in the process.

England under the McCullum-Stokes combination has won 10 of their last 12 Tests since June 2022.

Here's what Robinson said

"It is [the pinnacle] for me: it doesn't get much better than that. It's a dream come true to be involved in a home Ashes. When we went to Australia [in 2021-22], we weren't quite at our best.

"But with the team and the squad we've got at the moment, it's such an exciting time to play Australia at home. I really feel like we could get one over on them, and give them a good hiding."

England are due to play a one-off Test against Ireland prior to the first Test at Edgbaston, while Australia will take on India in the World Test Championship Final a week before The Ashes 2023 commences.
