The fourth and final Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy (BGT) 2023 ended in a draw on Day 5, as India went on to clinch the series 2-1. This was also India's third-successive series win over Australia since claiming the BGT 2019-20 Down Under.

In all these series wins, India has had star performers in Cheteshwar Pujara and Ravichandran Ashwin.

While Pujara out-batted Australian bowlers, Ashwin has out-spun his opponents on a regular basis. Both Pujara and Ashwin are known for their banter on social media platforms, and this was once again witnessed after skipper Rohit Sharma handed India's No.3 batter to bowl the 78th over.

After the match, Ashwin took to Twitter to raise concerns over his place in the side, with Pujara's leg-break bowling coming into prominence.

Pujara, not one to off Ashwin off the hook, hit back remaining the off-spinner about him coming into bat at No.3 in the first Test at Nagpur.

Here's what Ashwin Tweeted

Fun aside, Pujara scored 140 runs in four Tests, while Ashwin scalped 25 wickets in the BGT 2023 to become joint 'Man of the Series' awardee along with Ravindra Jadeja.

Earlier, Ashwin in his famous 'Kutti Story' series on Youtube, spoke about shaving off half his moustache if Pujara slams a six off a spinner in the 2021 England series in India.
