On Sunday, Jos Buttler's England will aim at restoring parity, as they will take on Bangladesh in the second T20I of the three-match series. Meanwhile, the Tigers, who secured an emphatic victory in the first T20I in Chattogram, would like to script history, clinching the series by winning this high-octane clash.

Team Preview: Bangladesh

After incurring a heartbreaking 1-2 defeat to the Englishmen in the ODIs, Bangladesh ensured a commendable fightback in the T20Is, winning the first fixture without breaking a sweat.

While the spin unit, led by Shakib Al Hasan, kept England on their toes, Hasan Mahmud made it incredibly tough for the visitors to accelerate in the slog overs.

On the batting front, Najmul Hossain Shanto translated his ODI success in the T20I, smashing a belligerent fifty and decimating England's chances, if there was any, to defend the paltry total of 156 runs.

So, moving on to this game, the Tigers will focus on sustaining the momentum and taking an unassailable lead in the series.

Team Preview: England

On the contrary, England were underwhelming with the bat, as they faltered in finishing their innings on a high note.

Despite getting off to a flying start, courtesy of a brisk 80-run opening stand between Jos Buttler and Phil Salt.

As they will continue to miss their first-choice middle order batters, Harry Brook and Liam Livingstone, the onus will be on Dawid Malan and Ben Duckett to assist the openers.

Their bowlers also had a forgettable outing, failing to strike at crucial junctures. While Mark Wood conceded runs at a miserable economy of 12, Sam Curran and Chris Woakes couldn't pick a single wicket. So, they have a lot of areas to reassess and fine-tune their performance in order to stay alive in the series.

Pitch Report: The surface in Dhaka will offer significant assistance to the spinners, gradually becoming challenging for the batters. As it's a day game, chasing will be difficult, which is why the toss-winner might opt to bat first.

Probable XIs

As the wicket is expected to be spin-friendly, England might replace one of their seamers, preferably Chris Woakes, with Rehan Ahmed. For the same reason, Bangladesh will likely replace Shamim Hossain with Mehidy Hasan Miraz.

Bangladesh: Litton Das (WK), Rony Talukdar, Najmul Hossain Shanto, Towhid Hridoy, Shakib Al Hasan (C), Afif Hossain, Shamim Hossain/Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Taskin Ahmed, Nasum Ahmed, Hasan Mahmud, Mustafizur Rahman

England: Phil Salt, Jos Buttler (C/WK), Dawid Malan, Ben Duckett, Moeen Ali, Sam Curran, Chris Woakes/Rehan Ahmed, Jofra Archer, Chris Jordan, Adil Rashid, Mark Wood
