It's the battle of the best as the two undefeated sides in the tournament, Delhi Capitals and Mumbai Indians take on each other in match number 7 of the Women's Premier League to be played at DY Patil Stadium, Mumbai.
Riding high on confidence, both the departments of these sides are firing at the moment with some exuberant fielding on display during the entire course of the game.
Team Preview: Delhi Capitals Women
The Capitals led by ever so smart cricketer Meg Lanning have been outstanding as they first got better off Royal Challengers Women in the first game and then, cleaned up UP Warriorz in the next.
Batting is their prime strength with two double-hundreds being achieved both times as they have batted first.
Skipper Lanning was brilliant with two 70-plus scores as she gave her side a proper headstart while Shafali Verma a the other end is equally dangerous. Later, when Jemimah Rodrigues joins, things get spicier for the side.
As of now, they don't seem a have glaring weaknesses but something could get exposed when they see the equally threatening MI side.
Team Preview: Mumbai Indians
Currently, at top of the table, thanks to their superior Net Run-Rate, the Indians are under the able leadership of Harmanpreet Kaur.
It goes without saying that their opening match against Gujarat Giants will remain their best wins where they surpassed 200 runs and then bowled the opposition out for just 64.
In the next match, they eased the chase inside 15 overs against the RCB side after halting them for 155.
Their superstar so far has been Hayley Matthews who has managed to score 124 runs while picking up three wickets in two games.
While Nat Sciver-Brunt and Saika Ishaque have been impressive too with their skill sets.
