With batting becoming a major concern for the Indian team management as the third Test of the challenging Border-Gavaskar Trophy came as an eye-opener for the side, the options are being considered.

After moving further from the previous headache of opener KL Rahul who was under a lot of scrutinies, the team is now thinking about what they need to do with a replacement keeper for Rishabh Pant- KS Bharat.

Bharat hasn't impressed much with his bat after managing just 57 runs across five innings, however, there have no doubts about his skills with the gloves.

The puzzle that India needs to solve is if they should persist with Srikar who batted only on rank turners until now or look towards, One-day double-centurion Ishan Kishan.

This buzz emerged after the news of Kishan practising in nets along with the head coach of the side Rahul Dravid. But Bharat will be batting in the nets on Wednesday, as reports stated.

The fact that the pitch is going to be supportive for the batters, keeps the side double-minded about their choices and combinations for the next game.

Another thing that could tempt the management is the fact that the World Test Championship (WTC) final will be played in the Oval which will surely be challenging for the young Bharat against the quality of the Australian pace attack on seaming surfaces.

The final verdict will be taken a day before the game and it will be fascinating to see if big-hitter is considered to fill the big shoes of Pant.
