Senior Sports Journalist S Dinakar Found Dead In Indore

In a shocking news, veteran sports journalist S Dinakar has been recovered dead from his hotel room in Indore where he went to cover the third Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.

Dinakar was working for the newspaper 'The Hindu', where he was working as the senior deputy editor as he was associated with the company for more than a decade. On Monday, his unconscious body was taken to the hospital where he was declared brought dead.

Moreover, heart attack is being considered as the reason for his passing.

Along with that, he was about to leave for Ahmedabad on Tuesday morning to cover the fourth Test of the series that would begin on the 9th of March.

Sanjay Jagdale, former BCCI secretary commented on the matter stating that he had a chat with the senior pro.

"Dinakar spoke to me on Monday about the aggressive playing style of the cricket team of Holkars, the erstwhile rulers of Indore."

Further, he revealed that Dinakar had planned to visit him but some change in plans meant, it couldn't go through.

His report on passing by the Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association (MPCA) who did everything possible to save his life.

Sampat Upadhyay, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) declined to comment on anything as of now as he decided to wait before getting anything conclusive.
