One of the greatest batters of all time, AB de Villiers has revealed his No.1 T20 player of all time and quite surprisingly is not his close friend Virat Kohli or RCB teammate Chris Gayle. De Villiers has named Afghan T20 skipper and ace bowler Rashid Khan as his favourite 20-overs cricketer.
Rashid grew to prominence in the T20 Leagues before making his mark in the international arena as well, which includes an international hat-trick against Ireland back in 2019.
Speaking on SuperSport, the former Proteas captain hailed Khan as a "match-winner" with both bat and ball. The leg-spinner is currently playing in Pakistan Super League 2023 for defending champions Lahore Qalandars and is already the fourth-highest wicket-taker with nine.

"My greatest T20 player of all time is none other than Rashid Khan. He delivers with bat and ball. Match winner in both departments; he is a livewire in the field and has got the heart of a lion. He always wants to win; he's very competitive, and he's right there with one of the best T20 players. Not one of the best, the best",
Overall, the 24-year-old has played 382 T20s, taken 514 wickets, and scored 1,893 runs playing in various leagues including PSL, IPL, BBL, CPL, and The Hundred.
Meanwhile, Khan has played 77 T20Is and bagged 126 wickets while playing for Afghanistan.
