The third match of the ongoing Women's Premier League (WPL) 2023 produced a thriller, as UP Warriorz notched up a three-wicket win over Gujarat Titans, thanks to an onslaught by Grace Harris

Needing 65 off four overs, Harris slammed seven fours and three sixes en route to her unbeaten 59*, helping her side clinch a memorable victory.

The Australian star found support in England's Sophie Ecclestone, who hit a cameo of 22 runs, during the pair's 70-run stand.

Chasing 170, Kim Garth's fifer put the Warriorz into deep trouble before Harris and Ecclestone lifted their side through a ditch.

Harris, who was awarded the player of the match, revealed that she was psyched and wanted to go out and bat.

Here's what Harris said

"Great feeling to finish the game off. I actually knew what I wanted to do. I started poorly. You need to get the conditions to know how to play. Was thankful that Sophie motored along,

"Was getting a bit antsy when there were so many breaks with the DRS at the end. I was just really psyched to get out there and have a bat. Have trained a lot. Love batting with a bit of freedom."

The win puts UP in third position with two points, while a second consecutive loss of Gujarat finds them at the bottom of the table with zero points.

The Alyssa Healy-led side will meet Delhi Capitals tomorrow.
